Cousins Jillian and Mariko Tamaki are the co-creators of several young adult graphic novels. Jillian is a cartoonist, illustrator, and educator raised in Calgary, Alberta and currently living in Toronto, Ontario. Mariko is a Canadian graphic novel and comic book writer living in California.
