The Ostrich is a historic brand of Nabulsi olive oil soap. Since 1948, these soaps have been made in Jordan by the Masri family, a Palestinian family that follows the traditional soap-making process.

Originating in Nablus, a city in Palestine’s West Bank, Nabulsi olive oil soap has been made for millennia and continues to be crafted with the same ancient process. With a simple blend of virgin olive oil, water, and lye, it’s filtered and purified through a week-long traditional cooking process until no lye remains. The soap is then hand cut, stacked, and dried for up to eight months to create a dense, long-lasting bar.

With no fragrances, additives, or chemicals of any kind, this pure olive oil soap is famously gentle and hypoallergenic. Loved for its nourishing simplicity, it cleans effectively without irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin and safe for washing almost anything.
