Harper K. Smith is a queer, disabled freakfolk-pop musician from Winnipeg, Manitoba (Treaty 1 Territory). Her songs ache with chronic illness, PTSD, and complex allergies and hover over broken relationships and death, while still pointing—albeit wearily—to her visions of a glittery apocalypse and reborn world. Her performances stop time, freezing audiences in place with nothing to do but listen.
